The cosplay heroes of Chi-town, the C^3, make another valiant effort at a get-together. In this report, Troppy cooks, gets hopelessly lost, and hides from a Jin-Roh soldier!
I'm FINALLY out of the Yuna rut at this con, premiering my Rinoa Heartilly costume! A very different sort of ACen, this con lacks many of the friends that are usually there, but gains a big-time award, and a new appreciation for guests like Scott McNeil and Shinichi Watanabe. ^_^
Taking place two tiny weeks after Kazecon merely a few blocks away, Reactor seemed to get higher marks in everything from preparation to attendance numbers. Far raunchier than the family-friendly Kaze, this sexed-up but ridiculously fun weekend was also the debut of yet another Troppy outfit: Songstress Yuna. ^_^
My first small convention, and the premiere of Thief Yuna. After attending the monster that is ACen for three years, Kazecon was quite the shocker. Summing up a tiny but memorable event, this report features the tale of my very first masquerade award. ^_^ ...That, and ladybugs. Lots of them.
The Chicagoland Cosplay Club's first in-costume meet was a small one, with much conflict among members both preceding and following it. Even so, my Summoner Yuna took on the trials of nature! A short report, but some long-lasting memories.
Once again at AnimeCentral (going without cons for a year is ROUGH,) I debuted my Richie and Gunner Yuna outfits. Starting with a concert where I was a backup dancer for Japanese singer Yoko Ishida, this con was mind-blowing! Read on for tales of a cliche-smashing Domo-kun, coffee that brews in the cup, broken sunglasses, and epic battles! ...well. Maybe.
Considering this happened over a year before this report was up, its considerably lacking in the content department. My second convention EVER, ACen featured my first cosplay, Summoner Yuna! Highlighted events include my first masquerade, trips to McDonald's in a stranger's car, and an amateur voice acting panel.
